Disinfection is also intensified in public facilities such as public cemetery (TPU) and urban forest in South Jakarta in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

South Jakarta Park and Urban Forest Office Head, Winarto stated, 15 TPUs and 92 parks in South Jakarta has been disinfected from March 16 until today.

"I have instructed unit leaders at sub-district level to disinfect parks and TPUs," he stated, Monday (3/23).

According to him, disinfection will be focus on facilities that mostly used, such as children playground area, benches, gazebo, and others.

"Hopefully residents can get used to avoid crowds," he mentioned.
